Stop Illegal Pollution!

On July 10, Exxon's Houston Plant reported an illegal release of 3,063 pounds of pollution during flaring amid an emergency shutdown. The facility has a long history of violations.

In fact, the petrochemical facility was the third largest source of illegal particulate matter emissions in Texas in 2016. Health researchers have linked this kind of pollution is linked to asthma and other pulmonary conditions, increased ER and hospital visits, and premature death in those with heart or lung disease.

Ask state regulators to crack down and get Exxon to stop breaking the law.
