Tell our legislators to support 1 million acres of additional parkland

Dear Legislators,

From camping under the stars at Big Bend Ranch to exploring the cypress swamps of Caddo Lake, our parks make life better here in Texas. But we have a problem: We don't have enough parkland to meet the needs of our growing population. According to the state parks department, we need to add 1 million acres by 2030 in order to keep up with demand. In the upcoming special session of the state Legislature, you will decide how to spend $16 billion in federal funds. Please vote to set aside at least $50 million to buy land for new state parks.
