Tell the Texas Legislature to protect solar and wind energy in Texas

Help save renewable energy in Texas. The Texas Senate has passed a package of bills that could grind renewable energy development in Texas to a halt.

The bills would make renewable companies subsidize the construction of new fossil fuel plants, pay new transmission and "ancillary services" fees, create onerous permitting requirements, and fundamentally change how electricity is bought and sold in Texas.

The result? Renewable energy development in Texas could grind to a halt. That would mean more air pollution threatening our health and higher electric bills.
