Green Kids Webinars

Join us for a Green Kids webinar, a 30-minute activity for you and the kids to learn about environmental issues, ask questions, and do fun activities all from your living room.

Sign up for one or all of our upcoming Green Kids events:

Protecting Pollinators (Friday 3/27 at 2:00 p.m.). We'll talk about one of earth's most amazing creatures: bees. Why they're important, the troubles they're facing, and what we can do to protect them. Then, we'll learn how to make our very own bee friendly seed balls to help you grow wildflowers in your own yard.

Keep Plastic Out of the Pacific (Thursday 4/2 at 12:30 p.m.). We'll read a great picture book called Myrtle the Turtle, discuss how we can reduce plastic waste, and learn how to turn our old t-shirts into reusable bags.

Wildlife of Texas (Tuesday 4/7 at 4:30 p.m.). We will learn to spot invasive, endangered, and native species in Texas. Then we will draw pictures of our favorite native and endangered critters, and write letters to our representatives to support protections for them.

You will need a computer, tablet or other device -- preferably with a webcam so we can interact with you -- and some basic materials to do our activities, all stuff most of us have around the house.
